Congratulations to the Sisters of St. Joseph on 170 Years in Toronto

The Archdiocese of Toronto congratulates the Sisters of St. Joseph on the 170th anniversary of their arrival in the city.

It is difficult to imagine Toronto without the Sisters of St. Joseph. Without these women religious we would not have St. Michael’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Michael’s Homes or the Daily Bread Food Bank.

They continue to make their mark on life in the Greater Toronto Area through their numerous activities, including The Furniture Bank and The Fontbonne Ministries.
