CCCB Statement Following Attacks At Mosques in New Zealand

On behalf of the Catholic Bishops of Canada, CCCB President Bishop Lionel Gendron, PSS, addressed a letter to the Muslim community to extend condolences and to express solidarity and support following the shootings that took place in Al Noor Mosque and Linwood Mosque, in Christchurch, New Zealand. 

We continue to pray for those injured and killed in the violent attacks. May places of prayer serve as sanctuaries of peace, free from violence and hatred.
